Players Performed Really bad Fans Made it worse and Gavaskar turned Things Worst

Cricket is a much buzzed entertainment factor in India. Doesn’t matter the players know how to make it exciting, but the Indian fans always have a way to drag the juicy quotient from the game. Recently concluded t-20 match between India and South Africa is a perfect example of the above. What happened is never coveted and quite unfortunate as well. Indian batsmen were too languid between the wickets, some were behaving like visitors at their own soil, and the skipper seemed like taking his ‘cool’ image too damn seriously. All these are perfect ingredients for a boorish discussion against the team, at least in a cricket freak nation like India. And, witty, extrovert Dhoni (especially while confronting media) is lucky again to find all those chaos being taken care of in his favour without any effort. In a quite amicable way the focus of all those anguish has now shifted towards the cricket fans. What about this? Unarguably, throwing bottles is never a recommended way to display frustration when your team is careless about your love for the game. It is worth blamed. But, the way veteran Sunil Gavaskar reacted was definitely quite effusive. Well, it’s not the first time you are witnessing such incidents in India. Gavaskar claims the Barabati Cricket ground, Cuttack should be banned for a certain period of time as a punishment. Is this a way Mr. Gavaskar? They were accumulated in huge numbers to witness something extraordinary. Win or losses are definitely the parts and parcels of any game. But, a team that enjoys extravagant facilities like VIPs if loses series to a comparatively tyro Bangladesh, and again in an embarrassing way, against a team resting most of his key players is obvious to generate chaos among the fans. By the way, what about those loyal gentleman fans Mr. Gavaskar? It’s a fact that only a few, about 0.1 % of the entire crowd would have initiated the process of throwing bottles. At the same time, these sort of ardent fans certainly know the bottles they are throwing will never reach the players, they were damn unintentional. In short, it was a way to display their rage. The behaviour might not be accepted. But, what about the 99.9 % gentleman fans Mr. Gavaskar? Cricket is raking that moolah as the game is equally popular in small cities as it is in metros. What message are you going to leave? Can you guarantee no such incident will happen ever again after imposing ban? Finally: Fans are fans. It’s the duty of the administrators, and the ground authorities to arrange disciplinary measures. Punishment is always given by the authorities Mr. Gavaskar, being a commentator it’s not your job. Being a renowned cricketer you should know well on how to react towards the fans of own nation. You can take MS Dhoni as a reference by the way. Ultimately, you were the worst part of the whole scenario, Mr. Gavaskar! It was never expected from a respected personality like you.
