Be it Delhi’s Paratha, Gujurat’s Dhokla, or Punjab’s Lassi; all these never witness scarcity in terms of crowds, what so ever. The taste is same; still, fans get gung-ho each time they pass by these shops. Now this is something you call a brand. Similar is the case with Imtiaz Ali. Be it Jab We Met, Love Aaj Kal, or Rock star, the lanky director cooks almost similar definition of love each time, and each time they feel miraculous. People draw beautiful perceptions whenever something trends about the director’s upcoming movie. Interestingly, each time they find well akin to their wish; and still quite refreshing. It’s a sweet addiction you can say. This time Imtiaz promises an enthralling ‘Tamasha’, starring one of the most flamboyant pairs of the tinsel town, Ranbir-Deepika. Post taking a dig at the trailer, comparing the movie with 2013 blockbuster ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Diwani’ is quite knee jerk. Conventionally in Bollywood, a movie with a replica image of an earlier hit is not considered quite impressive, at least from the box office point of view. However, champions are bohemian; they don’t follow the trend, they become trendsetter. Despite having an obvious anticipation, Tamasha is quite sure to rake moolah. It’s an Imtiaz Ali directed movie, doesn’t matter who are the lead actors. Scenic beauties of Corsica can’t have any better mate than a passionate story telling by Imtiaz. Movie making is an art; one can better realise it through his movies. Tamasha minus Imtiaz would be simply another Ranbir- Deepika starrer, obviously Ranbir carrying lion’s part of the total weight. ‘It’s another YJHD’ what people would have tagged the movie with. In concurrence, Ranbir is indeed going through the toughest phase of his career. Hence, it would definitely put him (Ranbir) at a safer side by the film being promoted as an Imtiaz-A.R Rahman magical than another Ranbir-Deepika starrer. A good movie is something fans always want; something that can offer them the full value of their money. Diplomatic words are fine, but its box office that makes someone a star. Well, Ranbir is talented, and a star of course. We wish Tamasha revamps the declining career graph of this bollywood heartthrob.
